WHAT IS GLOBAL DAWAH DAY?

The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:

“Whoever guides (another) to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it.”

In 2022, on the grounds of the Qatar World Cup, iERA volunteers engaged with thousands. The result? Over 1,000 people embraced Islam, by the permission of Allah.

Now, the world's largest sporting event moves to North America. The opportunity is monumental, and the need is great. We're building on our proven model to reach hearts and minds on a global stage once again.

For six weeks in the summer of 2026, the world will unite in celebration. We will be there - in host city fan zones, cultural festivals, and public spaces - to engage in compassionate, intelligent conversations about Islam.

This is more than an event; it's a coordinated, strategic Dawah campaign aiming to:

Introduce Islam to millions in a positive, accessible way.
Distribute translated copies of the Quran and beneficial literature.
Provide a platform for open dialogue and questions.
Build bridges of understanding within local communities.

For an entire month the world’s eyes will be fixed on this event, becoming the topic of impassioned discussions in homes, schools, workplaces, restaurants, on street corners, well…everywhere you can think of!

Anything and everything sports is in during this period – even those that don’t like football will get caught up in the frenzy! From special offers for pizzas, to decidedly bizarre advertising, everyone will be riding the wave.

But, with all the euphoria and joy, there will also be sorrow as teams exit the tournament and people return to the humdrum routine of daily life. Maybe many considering that there must be more to life than this?

Imagine if a small seed could be planted in the minds of the masses, which in time could grow...prompting them to consider their true goal in life.
